Kids/Teen Program Coordinator Librarian

Full-Time: 37.5 hours/week
(Weekdays plus one evening per week and one Saturday and Sunday per month)

Do you like working with kids & teens? Are you highly organized and conscientious about details? Are you passionate about children’s and teen literature? Are you comfortable enough with e-resources and technology to help patrons? Are you happiest in a noisy, active environment? Are you comfortable adapting to change? Do you play well with others?

If this describes you, join our hard-working, fun-loving, collaborative team. Our team provides top-notch customer service at the desks in KidSpace and Teen Underground. We encourage creativity and sharing of ideas. We constantly collaborate with those in our own department, teen department, and even adult services through intergenerational programs. We look forward to sharing our award-winning Summer Reading Club and our new K-Gr. 4 maker space in development, the Wonder Ground.

Requirements:
MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited school.
Experience working with children and teens.
Excellent customer service, communication, and technology skills.
Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a busy environment.

Salary range: Annual salary starts at $41,960
