Shakespeare Project of Chicago - Macbeth

Join us as David Skidmore directs this classic tale of a man who reached for the brass ring and found it a hangman's noose.
Back by popular demand, The Friends of the Niles Public Library are sponsoring the 19th season of The Shakespeare Project of Chicago. Five plays are being presented in a theatrical reading format. The Shakespeare Project of Chicago is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council and places an artistic emphasis on the language of the plays and leverages the talents of professional actors (members of Actors’ Equity Association).

Bubble and Squawk Cookbook Discussion

Ever wonder if a cookbook is any good?
Every other month we will have a discussion on a cookbook.
Choose a recipe from the book selected, make the recipe and bring the completed dish to the discussion. The night of the discussion we will sample all the dishes and discuss the recipes and the overall book. Participants must bring a dish to participate.
February's featured cookbook is the Joy of Cooking by Irma Rombauer. Copies will be available at the Adult Services Reference desk 3rd floor.
