Maintaining Your Home Computer for Beginner (2015 Edition)

Back by popular demand, and revised for 2015, this class will cover all of the important concepts with maintaining a PC or Mac the right way. How should backups be handled? How can I purchase the best quality computer for the money? What scams should I be on the lookout for? A formal interactive lecture will be hosted by FireLogic followed by a full Q&A session for all attendees. This class will be webinar enabled for learn from home patrons. This 3 week training session meets 2 consecutive Thursdays and one more date to be announced. Learn to use the mouse, keyboard, explore Windows, begin searching the internet. Registering for the first session of the month reserves your seat for all 3 days. There is no individual session registration.

Tech Time for Adult Learners

Today to keep up or get ahead at work you need to know how to use popular computer programs and social media. Come to the Technology Lab to get acquainted with our resources to learn these skills. Work at your own pace. You can use our computers or bring your own computer or tablet. Staff will be on hand to assist. Walk in, no reservation is required.
