Ms. Bernadetta and friends are here to share stories and songs in Polish(with a bit of English). Followed by a craft and a snack. This storytime is for ages 3 and up together with a parent or caregiver.

Adapt your favorite Newbery award-winner into a short film for the annual 90-Second Newbery Festival. This workshop meets six times to brainstorm, write, rehearse, shoot and edit the final project.

The Monarch Award is Illinois own kids choice award for Kindergarten through third graders. This is a special interactive storytime designed for kids from preK to third grade, followed by activities, snacks, and a chance to cast a vote for your favorite book on this years list!
Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to move with Chicagos Dancing with Class, joining us for an interactive performance of dances from around the globe. Pick up free tickets in KidSpace 30 minutes ahead of time. Seating is limited.
Grades K-4 are welcome to look, touch, tinker, and play with an intriguing array of science-oriented curiosities in this new space designed especially for kids. A drop-in visit is meant to last about 15 minutes. Activities are repeated each week from Tuesday to Thursday. The Wonder Ground is a STEAM playground for kids.
