Join us a we combine forces with Jumpstart, an early literacy initiative. We will be adding our numbers with those in big cities, small towns, and everywhere in between to put children first by shining a spotlight on the importance of high-quality early education.

Registration required. Grades 3-5 are welcome to register to try your hand at our monthly MineCraft Monday challenge! We'll meet in the new computer training lab on the lower level.

Second Sunday Family Program Boomshaka

Boomshaka is Northwestern University's premier drum, dance, and rhythm ensemble. Entirely student written, directed, and produced, they'll be preforming dance styles such as hip-hop and tap with various forms of percussion, using everything from sticks, poles, and buckets to their hands and feet. Pick up free tickets in KidSpace 30 minutes ahead of time. Seating is limited.

Reading with Rover

Does your child need to build confidence when reading out loud? Our friendly dogs are great listeners, always positive and always fun to cuddle with! Grades K and up (beginning to advanced readers, in room without parents). Call 847-663-6622 or drop by to sign up for a 20 minute slot. Priority will be given to Niles Public Library cardholders; siblings will be given 20 minutes slots only if there is no waiting list, otherwise they will share a slot.
