Breakfast and Ballots

Kids in grades K-5, register to enjoy treats and some of the best Monarch books read aloud. If you've read 5 books from the Monarch list or 4 books from the Bluestem list, make an author happy by voting for your favorite book from these award lists! Younger children may attend but aren't eligible to vote.

Community Quilt Extravaganza

Anyone ages 5 and up, drop in and share your stories by making a triangle for our no-sew community quilt! All materials will be provided. Led by Larry Crost, registered art therapist and founder of Art Colony. Caregivers need to stay in the room with children through grade 2.

Wonder Ground Open Lab

Grades K-4 are welcome to look, touch, tinker, and play with an intriguing array of science-oriented curiosities in this new space designed especially for kids. A drop-in visit is meant to last about 15 minutes. Activities are repeated each week from Tuesday to Thursday. The Wonder Ground is a STEAM playground for kids.

Calling all K-8 Drama Kings and Queens: drop in to find your stage voice and learn drama skills through fun theater games, skits and improvisation. Caregivers need to stay in the room with children through grade 2.

Niles Public Library District is hosting area high school students to offer a little homework help most Monday nights.
