Gale Courses

Gale Courses offers a wide range of free instructor-led courses. Classes run for six weeks on a variety of topics including technology, health-care training, business/accounting, personal development, law, test prep, and more. Some classes can lead to certification. Niles Library cardholders only.

Find interactive test preparation guides for the ASVAB, GRE, SAT, ACT, civil service, military, law enforcement, real estate, U.S. Citizenship Test, and other exams. Use for career exploration and workplace skill-building. Find essentials to building a resume or cover letter. Includes test prep for elementary school and high school students.

Yes offers access to a vast library of high quality, current and engaging video tutorials taught by great teachers who are also working professionals. Users outside of the Library building will need to use their Niles library card numbers. 

Mango Languages

Mango teaches 60 languages step-by-step from the very widely spoken (Spanish, Chinese, Russian, French, Italian) to the more unusual (Irish, Swahili, and even Pirate) as well as Angielski Dla Polaków (ESL Polish), Inglés Para Hablantes De Español (ESL Spanish), and others.
