Help write, produce and perform an original play for all ages. Earn volunteer horus while having fun and expressing yoruself, whether on or off stage. Be ready to share your ideas and roll up your sleeves.

Holly Black and Cassandra Clare

Book One of Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter Chronicles was recently made into a film, and promises to delight fans. Holly Black is the author of Doll Bones, a 2014 Newbery Honor recipient, The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, and co-author of the Spiderwick Chronicles. They have joined forces to create an all new series: The Magisterium. Join us as we welcome these two mega-authors here at Niles Public Library! This program is presented in partnership with the Book Stall at Chestnut Court in Winnetka, who will be here selling books for autographing.

Animals on Parade with the Salt Creek Ballet

All ages are welcome to join us as we host the Salt Creek Ballet where they will share with us a behind the scenes look at Animals on Parade, their summer showpiece. They will bring costumes, share some ballet terminology, and give us some insider insight into what goes into a ballet show. Feel free to bring your tutus and expect to jump up and join in.
