Tech Time for Job Seekers and Other Adult Learners

Everyone needs computer skills today. Come to the Technology Lab to use Lynda.com to update your computer abilities or just come in to practice. You can use our computers or bring your own computer or tablet. Stay for the full session or just as long as you need. Staff will be on hand to assist. No Registration – but seats are limited to 12.

Learn to use the free version of Microsoft PowerPoint – the PowerPoint Web App. An MSN account is required. If you have Hotmail, MSN Mail, or an Outlook.com account you already have free access to Office Web Apps through the Sky/One Drive. If you don't have an account, please create one before class. Familiarity with the Word Web App and Registration Required.

Makey Makey Workshop

Invent and play with Makey Makey, simple kits that allow you to turn virtually anything into a computer keyboard. You could make a bunch of bananas into a piano or a pencil drawing into a game controller!
