Meeting Rooms/Study Rooms

The Library offers 7 updated media capable spaces for meetings, including a Computer Training Lab. Each room is equipped with a built-in HD projector and screen, amplified speakers and both HDMI and VGA/Audio connections. The Large Meeting Room can host up to 110 people, has a kitchen, can wirelessly display video and audio from tablets and laptops, and provides both a full HD video and movie theater surround sound experience. Meeting Room Reservations

The rooms can be reserved by library cardholders, residents, organizations, and companies located within the library district. Profit organizations will be charged a non-refundable service fee.  All scheduled meetings held in the meeting rooms are considered to be open to the public. Closed or members-only meetings may not be held. No sale of goods or services shall be permitted. No admission may be charged by any group. Reservations for the use of the rooms must be made by a completed application and approved by the Library Director.  Please contact Diane Winberg, 847/663-6402, dwinberg@nileslibrary.org with questions and to schedule a meeting.

 

Study Room Reservations

Six study rooms are available for use free of charge and may be reserved up to one week in advance by Library District cardholders.  Non cardholders may use the rooms on a first-come, first served basis, but may be bumped if the room is needed by a resident. The study rooms accommodate 4 or 6 individuals. Please contact the Tech Desk to make a reservation, 847/663-6606.
