Senior Coffee Hour : Medicare Made Easy

October 15 - December 7, 2015 is open enrollment period for Medicare D Prescription Plan and Medicare Advantage health insurance plan. This is a good time to look at your health insurance, and ensure your needs are being met. Kathy Gaeding from C.J.E. SeniorLife, a trained Illinois Senior Health Insurance Counselor, will provide tips to help you make good choices, and guide you through the Medicare maze. For adults ages 50 years and over.

Citizens Utility Board: Phone Bill Clinic

CUB staff will review home landline and cell telephone bills and recommend ways to cut costs. On average, folks save $200 per year by making simple changes. You may bring a cell phone bill but more specific advice will be given for a landline. CUB will review one bill per adult. First come, first served. You will be given a number at arrival; be prepared to wait your turn. Registration recommended. Drop-in between 10am and 2 pm. CUB has capped this event at 60 people.
