Bubble and Squawk Cookbook Discussion

Ever wonder if a cookbook is right for you? Every other month we will have a discussion on a cookbook. Choose a recipe from a book selected, make the recipe and bring the completed dish to the discussion. The night of the discussion we will sample the dishes and discuss the recipes and the book. Participants must bring a dish to participate. June's featured cookbook is Salad as a Meal by Patricia Wells. Copies will be available at the 3rd floor Adult Services desk.

Dating Photographs from Clothing

Family photographs are hard to date as generations pass away. Many people have unidentified photos in their collection. This is where costume dating can be helpful. Become familiar with certain popular silhouettes to assign a date range to a photograph. Basic facial recognition will also be covered. Please bring photographs with you to the lecture. Presented by Ellie Carlson.
